Key Service Item - Rear Control Blade BA-FG Falcon & SX-SZ Territory (1043)
The release of the BA Falcon saw the most radical change ever to the family sedans’ suspension, with
the introduction of an independent rear suspension (IRS) set up utilising multi point upper and lower
control arms with a forward trailing arm or what’s commonly called the ‘control blade’.
The ‘control blade’ is mounted by a very soft &
heavily voided pivoting front rubber bushing that
induces axle tramp under acceleration and what
many motorists claim as a disconnect or
unpredictable rear end.
This area of the vehicle is emerging as a common
suspension service item.

Does your VT-VZ Commodore Squirm Under Braking? (1035)
Then Nolathane's 48166 is the answer!
VT-VZ Commodores can suffer from poor brake pedal feel or
squirming under braking. The original strut rod to chassis bush is a
relatively soft hydraulic or fluid filled bush. This soft bush takes most
of the braking load as the vehicle wants to keep moving and the
wheel tries to stop. The result is very little feedback through the
brake pedal and in some vehicles, even if the front disc rotors are in
good condition, a pulse can still be felt through the pedal. The
original bushes are also now beginning to leak and fail, allowing
excessive front end movement.
Front End Solutions For The FG Falcon Range (1033)

4WD Adjustable Panhard Rods & Trailing Arms (1032)
Nolathane's range of front and rear heavy duty adjustable panhard rods are
essential on raised vehicles to correct axle alignment. When raised suspension is fitted to a coil sprung 4WD,
the fixed length of the front and rear panhard rods can cause the axle to move to one side.
The Nolathane range
of adjustable panhard rods covers both the GQ & GU Patrol and 80 & 105 series (non-IFS) Landcruiser. Also

Simply replace the rear upper inner control arm bushings with high performing, long lasting
Nolathane, featuring offset threaded crush tubes and 2 bolt adjusting design. This simple adjusting
design provides up to 0.75º of positive camber adjustment to reduce costly inner edge tyre wear.
Chrysler PT Cruiser & Neon Front Lower Control Arm Solution (1020)
The original front lower control arm on PT Cruiser & Neon uses an “A”
type design arm that has the rear bush mounted vertically. The
constant distortion of this bush as the control arm moves up and down
combined with braking loads and our road conditions lead to
premature failure of these bushes. There is normally no noise to
indicate failure as the original rubber in the bush separates from its
steel case or splits. This failure is often not diagnosed due to the
gradual decline in performance. The steering and handling response
declines and in severe cases tyre wear can increase. It is common for
these vehicles to have the original bushes replaced under warranty.
Commodore IRS Camber Correction Kits (1019)
Replacing worn rear tyres is a regular expense suffered by thousands of Commodore owners every year. The Independent Rear Suspension (I.R.S.)
was introduced on some VP, VR & VS models from July'93 and continued until
the release of the VE Commodore in 2006, and this system is subject to poor
rear wheel alignment on lowered or heavily laden (commercial, utes & towing)
Commodores. The resulting alignment issue is excess negative camber and
toe resulting in the scrubbing of the inner tyre (as per the picture to the right
demonstrates) and premature tyre wear.

Volkswagen Golf & Audi A3 Release (0921)
 Nolathane has increased its coverage of European vehicles with products now available for the very popular Volkswagen Golf & Audi A3/S3 small car range covering from 1996 to present.
Unlike rubber, Nolathane polyurethane suspension bushings are not bonded by compression.
Nolathane bushings are mechanically fitted with minimal crush of the urethane material, and the centre pin is lubricated so
the component freely pivots without restriction. Combined with Nolathane’s ability to maintain the bush
shape, this free pivoting provides sharper handling response and greatly increased suspension control.
Ford Falcon / Territory Diff Solution (0920)

There is a fix with the range of complete replacement bushings or void inserts for the Ford Falcon and Territory range.
Replacement bushings - highly durable and heavily voided polyurethane bushings come with new mounting components to counter the over compliant or delaminated OE bushing and limited OE through bolt engagement.
Mazda 3 & Ford Focus Release (0919)
 If your car gets you from A to B, worn suspension components could end up costing you, especially since it can create an unpredictable vehicle whilst braking & cornering. Many small front wheel drive hatchback vehicles tend to “pull” to the left whilst driving in a straight line, which actually causes uneven tyre wear and in no time you need to replace your tyres which can hit your hip pocket hard. Fitting Nolathane's affordable offset or adjustable caster bushings to the lower front control arms corrects this problem.
Also your vehicles body roll whilst cornering is managed by a sway/ stabiliser bar that's connected by 2 mounting points and end links to your cars chassis. Its quite common for these the mounts and links to wear or even break which can create excess body roll and a more unstable vehicle whilst cornering.
